UX Researcher (Security Focused - Data Privacy Service)

Work Description:
The Crypto Services team is looking for a UX Researcher to collaborate with our product and engineering teams in creating user-centric solutions for an internal data security service. The ideal candidate will leverage qualitative and quantitative research methods to inform development decisions and enhance user experiences. This person will be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing user research while translating findings into actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct user research using various methods (e.g., interviews, usability testing, surveys, etc.).
* Develop research plans that address specific product goals and challenges.
* Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights.
* Present methods, explorations, and rationale along with a recommendation to your team.
* Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers and other stakeholders to implement user feedback.
* Create user personas, journey maps, and other UX documentation.
* Advocate for users and ensure that product decisions align with user needs.
* Continuously iterate on research strategies to align with evolving information and goals.
Qualifications:
The candidate should have:
* Proven experience in UX research, with a portfolio of research projects.
* Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
* Strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and recommendations.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user-centered design.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple research projects at different stages.
* Ability to work independently as a contractor and meet deadlines efficiently.
Education:
* Associates degree in a design or technology field, or equivalent experience.
Additional Details:
* At least some experience working on a product or interface that was used by a technical persona specifically for a task that is part of or closely related to development is heavily preferred.

Pay Range: $70/hr - $75/hr
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
