CNC Operator - Entry Level

2nd Shift ... 3 PM to 11 PM

• Masters: micrometer, calipers, heigh gauge, 0.0001" indictors, scale, weight scale.
• Be able to determine when a part is in spec (using the gauges listed above).
• Follow AS9100 D standards required at this level, including but not limited to completing paperwork, traceability, dimensional inspections required for a first article and a final from a quality coach to complete the audit sheet.
• In your area of assignment basic setup activities, included but not limited to dress a flat wheel, setup a band saw, add/remove vises, add a flat vacuum chuck.
• Know the importance of the different grades of graphite.
• Capable of training and coaching operators - level 1 and 2.
• Capable of leading and being accountable for cell performance.
• Skill level can perform any type of setup within the area of assignment
• Master setup for sine plates, can operate the CMM, HDC, Starrett and Optical Compactor.
• Depending upon your assigned area you should be able to perform the following setups: Radi, Forms, CNC tool parameters, part parameters.
