Deere & Company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Chicago, IL with the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years related experience.
- Required skills: Experience with Java/J2EE, SOAP, Rest Webservices, XML, and Hibernate, Spring (5 yrs); Involved in all Software Development Life Cycle stages including requirement gathering, analysis, design, build, testing and implementation (5 yrs); Responsible for Application Infrastructure Uplift as per the latest technology standards (5 yrs); Proficient in Agile methodologies (5 yrs); Experience in developing applications using Microservices architecture (3 yrs); Function as development lead to design the code and guide the developers per the design and requirement (5 yrs); Act as the SME (Subject Matter expert) for the suite of applications and provide key input to development team during analysis and design phase (5 yrs); Experience using CI/CD Pipeline (3 yrs).
- Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. Up to 20% remote work allowed.
