DescriptionThe Electronics/Electrical Repair Technician is responsible for performing electrical and electronic repair on production equipment in addition to providing general facilities maintenance of the building. Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic principles in determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operations.Performs electrical installations on machinery and plant equipmentPerforms preventative maintenance such as upgrades and repairs on plant equipmentProvides industrial electrical diagnosis and repairsPerforms electrical and electronic troubleshooting on CNC machineryAssembles and wires electronic units and machine control systems using diagrams and schematicsDisassembles and reassembles any item requiring repairApplies knowledge of standard test procedures for electrical equipmentPerforms other duties as requiredMust have a minimum of 1-3 years hands on experience in a manufacturing environment2-year technical degreeDemonstrated ability to diagnose electrical issues independentlyMust be capable of dealing with 480 volts and 3 phase wiring safelyStrong electronics aptitudePossess good judgement and exercises initiativeMust be able to work from a ladder or lift and obtain a license to operate a tow motor as well as a scissor lift
