Description

Come build a brand new UX based AWS product focused on computer vision and MLOps. This is a UX based product and hence customer experience is critical to our success.

AWS Industry Products (AIP) is an engineering organization chartered to build new AWS products by applying Amazon's innovation mechanisms and technologies to real world industry problems. We dive deep with industry leaders to solve problems and unblock industries spanning media, entertainment, sports, telco, manufacturing, supply-chain, automotive, energy and many more.

Within AIP, the ‘Media/Entertainment/Telco/Sports' (METS) sub-org focuses on solving complex problems around video streaming, video storage/extraction, AI/ML model inference, MLOPs, video classification etc. We are building a service that helps industries drive business outcomes using customized computer vision applications. This is a 0→1 initiative where we are building a new service from the ground up.

Key job responsibilities

What will you be doing:

  1. Designing, building and productizing new user experience for a new product.
  2. Partner with UX designers, researchers and design technologists to lay out a vision for best-in-class user experience.
  3. Design front and end experience and related components from the ground up.
  4. Work directly with customers to validate what you build.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of front-end developer creating prototypes or wire-frames for enterprise web applications or workflows experience.
  • Experience collaborating with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience developing with MVC/MVM frameworks (e.g. React.JS, AngularJS, Vue).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
