We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex optical, electronic, and mechanical devices . This role requires expertise in motor design, amplifier design, power management, EMC design, and microprocessor programming , with a strong focus on quality and regulatory compliance. Experience with medical device development and FDA processes will be considered a significant advantage.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop optical, electronic, and mechanical systems to meet product requirements.
  • Develop and optimize stepper motors and DC motor designs .
  • Design, test, and implement instrument amplifiers and power supply systems for efficient power management.
  • Perform EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) testing and design to ensure product reliability.
  • Design and program microprocessors , leveraging C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance with FDA regulations .
  • Define system requirements and work closely with third-party designers to create design and testing plans.
  • Contribute to medical device development , ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and quality expectations.
  • Perform detailed analysis and testing of electrical components, systems, and assemblies.
  • Utilize tools for schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation .
  • Document the entire design and development process , maintaining accurate records for future reference and audits.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Engineering (CE) .
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical/mechanical device design and testing.
  • Proven experience with motor design (stepper/DC motors) , amplifiers , power management , and EMC testing .
  • Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements and medical device development is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools .
  • Experience with electrical and optical simulation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Matlab is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail .
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams .


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices).
  • Knowledge of microprocessor architectures and embedded systems development.
  • Experience with third-party vendors and design partners to execute testing plans.
