Senior Cloud and Identity Access Engineer

We're looking for a tech-savvy, security-focused Cloud & Identity Engineer to shape the future of server infrastructure. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, configuring, and supporting a hybrid cloud and edge environment, blending identity management, security, and the latest cloud technologies.

What You'll Do:

• Take charge of our Active Directory and EntraID infrastructure , ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and bulletproof security.
• Own the PIM/PAM strategy —be the mastermind behind policy configurations, MFA enforcement, and overall system integrity.
• Lead global security efforts , focusing on protecting resources like Active Directory, DNS, PKI, ADFS, and NPS.
• Harness the power of the cloud —implement and manage cloud services across multiple platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS, focusing on IAAS, PAAS, DAAS, and DRAAS solutions.
• Strengthen our cloud security by optimizing IAM, encryption, and network defenses.
• Collaborate across IT teams to design forward-thinking cloud strategies, ensuring we stay ahead of industry best practices.
• Test, optimize, and secure systems for maximum performance, availability, and security of critical assets.
• Document and share your expertise with the team, providing valuable guidance on cloud and identity processes.
• Think cost-effectively by optimizing cloud resources, leveraging reserved instances, and implementing smart cost-control mechanisms.
• Support cloud backups and recovery —be the go-to expert for keeping data safe and resilient.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years in IT (or equivalent experience) with a strong grasp of Active Directory and cloud technologies.
• Deep expertise in Active Directory , from trust relationships and Group Policies to DNS and security configurations.
• Proven experience in cloud engineering , with advanced knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
• Cloud security and IAM mastery , with a focus on ADFS Federation, Azure SSO, NPS, Radius, and more.
• Problem-solving prowess with hands-on experience in traditional and cloud environments, including PKI, NDES, and networking within Azure and AWS.
• Automation chops —skilled with PowerShell, Python, and cloud CLI tools.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS , or similar cloud tech? Even better!
