How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Working very closely with the business teams, operations, engineering, and construction, Capital Implementation Americas focuses on its original role as the expert and owner's representative for the development of the projects and the delivery of the Return on Investment, leading owner's scope such as permitting, land lease, utilities supply, technical integrity, operation readiness, and further ensuring Governance (e.g. risks/opportunities, Management System & Rules & Procedures, Capitalization and Continuous Improvement), throughout the project life cycle.

Presentation of the team and business activities

CI Americas' team includes fourteen collaborators based in Houston, Texas, who all have different backgrounds, from operations to business or engineering. You will be part of the key process for the entity, Governance and Controls, for our entire portfolio of projects ranging from $10M to $700M. You will interact mainly with three various teams:

  1. CI management & Owner's Project Directors
  2. Engineering & Construction
  3. Finance and Operations Control

Mission Summary:

Support the Director of Governance and Business Controls to analyze the performance and report for Capital Investment projects (for all our business lines). You will contribute to this mission by:

  1. Ensuring the deployment of our governance process
  2. Getting involved in daily project management challenges
  3. Participating in risk reviews to analyze potential impacts of threats and opportunities
  4. Supporting the capitalization process, such as comparison between initial budget and cost at completion, schedule variations, in order to support further proposals

Education: Master's Degree in Engineering

Soft and Hard Skills:

  1. Structured way of working, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  2. Analytic strength, able to extract from a large set of data the core status of a project
  3. Communication skills, both verbal and written, for an executive level
