Job Title: Senior MEP Engineer/Project Lead

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in developing and securing projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona and bring extensive expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) system design. This role requires a strong technical background as well as leadership and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of MEP systems for diverse projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting designs and technical solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, operational sequences, and test reports.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Work closely with architects and contractors to meet project requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to optimize system performance.
• Promote the company’s services to clients and foster long-term relationships.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in MEP design and engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required, ideally in Arizona
• Strong leadership skills with a history of mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
• Highly organized, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality results.
• Experience with design-build projects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or a related field.
• A well-established book of business is highly preferred.
• Willingness to transfer licenses to sign off on projects in other states.
