Cloud Developer

Location : Hybrid in Houston, TX - mostly remote but will need to come in 2-3x a month for occasional meetings
Length : 6-month Contract
Project Details:

• Our client is currently working through a cloud migration and the primary work will be cloud based in AWS
• Their Legacy/existing systems are in C#/.NET and Oracle, so we are wanting someone who can do some development work for updates, etc. as well (No UI work). The team is working to implement JIRA and then start cloud migration to AWS services/DevOps.
• There is opportunity for this candidate to become a Lead over the off-shore team in the future, so looking for someone who has good communication and leadership skills/qualities.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Developer
• AWS Database experience (Aurora, PostGresSQL, or preferred)
• ECS, S3, Lambdas, etc.
• C#/.NET

Nice to haves/Preferred Skills:

• Previous cloud migration experience
• Architecture experience/exposure
• Industry experience: Airline or finance (accounting) experience nice to have to know terminology

Education or Certification Requirements:

• AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Associate Developer, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
