Job Summary:
As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be a vital member of our Cloud Platform Engineering team. You will implement and maintain cloud-native platform capabilities, focusing on infrastructure automation, continuous delivery, observability, and security. Your role is crucial in supporting the delivery and operation of our AWS cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead the design, implementation, and administration of cloud-based infrastructure automation and continuous delivery capabilities, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and site reliability practices.
- Oversee, build, and maintain operational tools for monitoring and analyzing AWS infrastructure and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Evaluate and lead the integration of new tools, technologies, and cloud services to enhance the platform's capabilities and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to define infrastructure and deployment requirements, ensuring adherence to cloud security standards, reference architectures, patterns, and best practices.
- Optimize cloud environments for both performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for cloud environments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in relevant technical fields. At least 2 years of experience with AWS cloud infrastructure. Minimum 2 years with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools and DevOps practices.
Role-specific Requirements:
- Experience developing and supporting highly transactional, mission-critical applications.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and cloud automation tools.
- Familiarity with AWS serverless technologies, container orchestration, and messaging systems.
- Background in distributed application development using Java or Python.

- AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.)
- CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins, Git, Nexus)
- Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
