Senior CADD Designer/Draftsperson

Senior CADD Designer/Draftsperson – We are looking for a motivated individual with good leadership qualities to join our Transportation Design Group in a leadership role within our Florida design team!

Responsibilities – The ideal candidate will:

• Generate CADD drawings from engineering design calculations and/or sketches with no supervision.
• Leverage their technical and communication talents to prepare structure design computations and design solutions under the supervision of a Work Group Leader or Project Engineer; including but not limited to:
  • Horizontal and vertical geometry calculations.
  • Layout work with supervision from Project Engineer.
  • Generate and check quantity calculations.
• Assist in the review of shop drawings during construction of projects designed by SAI.
• Provide support as needed for workshare with our other SAI offices.
• Work with CADD Manager related to workspaces and processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree or other technical school graduate.
• Experienced with ORD CADD practices and procedures for preparation of transportation plans (bridges, walls, signs, etc.).
