Position Overview

Concrete Careers is supporting a client seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the Customer Support team. We are growing rapidly via our best-in-breed cloud-native products and our second-to-none customer service.


Requirements

  1. 2-5 years of experience in technical support activities
  2. Hands-on experience in SQL, Scripting (batch, shell, power shell etc.)
  3. Experience completing updates to the database manually
  4. Hands-on experience in working with APIs (REST, SOAP)
  5. Prior experience in ETL (DTS, SSIS, Nifi)
  6. Hands-on experience in XML/XSLT
  7. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud experience is a nice to have
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good analytical skills

Job Responsibilities

  1. Handle ad hoc requests from customers to import data into SQL from XML, CSV formats
  2. Build and support ETL pipelines using home-grown tools and 3rd party such as NiFi
  3. Identify opportunities to automate, simplify repeat tasks and automate/script
  4. Act as a single point of contact for all data-related troubleshooting questions from the customer support team
