Job Purpose

Coordination of all scopes relating to flow assurance engineering on either a study, tender or project.

Job Description

Within the context of a project or a tender, the Flow Assurance Lead is expected to coordinate, on behalf of the project team, all aspects associated with flow assurance engineering, including engineering input to/from fabrication and installation (constraints, limitation, envelope…) which might affect the overall product or system performance as it relates to flow assurance. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Development of the Project Flow Assurance Specification
  • Ensuring all flow assurance design aspects of the system are optimized and communicated as input to a project’s sub-systems design teams.
  • Coordination of the technical support of flow assurance engineering for the equipment/system by leading a global team.
  • Collaborate with Technical System Lead and Product Engineers in defining solutions
  • Interface with Client, PMT, and TFMC Sub-system leads for all flow assurance engineering topics.
  • Ownership of flow assurance engineering activities - CTRs, Quality of Deliverables, and Schedule.
  • General awareness of all flow assurance related tasks.
  • Demonstrating detailed understanding of flow assurance through experience in using engineering tools:
    • 1-D multiphase flow simulation tools
    • Dynamic process simulation tools
    • PVT tools
  • Has a working knowledge/understanding of applicable industry equipment and process standards, codes, and recommended practices.

You are meant for this job if:

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering (or Master’s degree).
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant design engineering related discipline.
  • Good problem solving, effective communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong teamwork and research collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Solid numeric analytical skills.
  • Eager to learn new things and take on new challenges.
