Senior Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators. Ensure adherence to best practices in coding standards, security, performance, and integration.
2. Project Management Assistance
   • Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
   • Assist in overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project completion.
   • Conduct regular code reviews and testing to maintain high standards of code quality.
3. Development and Customization
   • Develop custom solutions and enhancements using Salesforce technologies including Apex, Lightning Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
   • Manage technical debt related to old Apex classes, workflows, process builders, etc.
   • Optimize Salesforce applications for maximum speed and scalability.
4. Integration and Deployment
   • Integrate Salesforce with external systems.
   • Oversee versioning and deployment processes using Git.
   • Work in an Agile SAFE project environment, ensuring iterative and incremental delivery of features.
5. Operational Support
   • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
   • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and new features to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Salesforce development and implementation.
• Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Apex (Testing, Triggers, Batches, etc.), Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura components, sharing & visibility, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Experience with web services (REST/SOAP).
  • Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
  • A plus: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Advanced Administrator, and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect.
