Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our electrical engineering department. In this role, you will be responsible for designing lighting, power distribution, and fire/security systems, performing calculations for lighting, power, and circuit loading, and producing detailed drawings and specifications for use in the construction industry. You will also manage client relationships and oversee projects, ensuring all work meets technical and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design lighting, power, and fire alarm systems, creating detailed specifications.
• Perform calculations for lighting, power distribution, and circuit loads.
• Produce drawings and documentation for construction and engineering projects.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including client communication and field visits.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards for electrical systems.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 5+ years of demonstrated experience in electrical design for building and construction or facilities engineering projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) designation is preferred; support may be offered to obtain this certification.
• Experience with power distribution, lighting design, and fire/security systems.
• Strong project management and client-facing skills.
