Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Our client is a well-established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team within the Maryland market!

Job Duties And Responsibilities

1. Work directly with project managers to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated response.
2. Design layouts of mechanical systems using AutoCAD and/or REVIT software.
3. Conduct building system audits, energy analysis and savings calculations.
4. Assist jobsite meetings as needed.
5. Identify and resolve conflicts as they arise.
6. Create and maintain customer relationships.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
2. EIT, PE, CEM are a bonus.
3. 3+ years experience in MEP and/or with an Energy Services company.
4. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. AutoCAD and REVIT software experience.
