Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to be based in Seattle, Washington .
This position is expected to begin in June 2024.
- Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
- Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
- Candidate must have completed 1 year of study in their program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and/or proficiency in DOT.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Bluebeam and Microsoft Project proficiency.
- Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Offered rate of compensation (Washington locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The hourly range for this position is $18 – $26/hr.
