Electromechanical Engineering Technician

Description

We are seeking an Electromechanical Engineering Technician with security clearance in Middletown, RI.

Job Duties:

• Support engineering activities such as design, testing, and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems, including electronic circuits and logic systems.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform testing and troubleshooting functions.
• Assist in determining methods to remedy malfunctions and compile technical data.
• Prepare engineering documentation and reports.
• Receive limited supervision and general instructions on new lines of work or special assignments.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• AA Degree in related discipline and five (5) years of related experience; years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Ability to obtain up to SECRET level clearance.
• Experience in production cable building and wiring electronics.
• Background in reading schematics/drawings and troubleshooting.

Desired Experience:

• MK695 torpedo test system experience or familiarity.
