SBCaaS Migration Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand MS Teams voice connectivity well – specifically direct routing (MS certified engineers preferred).
2. Good understanding of SIP / IP trunking services / SBCs (Ribbon preferred / Cisco / others).
3. Good understanding of AWS infrastructure (EC2, EBS, DX, VPN GW, DX Connect GW).
4. Ability to draft SIP low level designs working with customers – migrate voice network traffic to SIP solutions.
5. Stand-up and configure SBC VMs on AWS cloud, configure PBXs.
6. Verify VoIP service integration end-to-end.
7. Experience in TN portability, trunk movement from on-prem to Cloud SBCs desirable.
8. Understanding of Dial Plans, normalization rules, emergency location policy setting (E911), QoS setting, remote PBX assessment, analog voice gateway, API gateways.
9. Experience in migrating Skype for Business to Teams.
