Health and Human services - enterprise team - supports 50 applications within the agency - both public and internal
Project scope
• Will be project focused
o Agile 2 week sprints
? Sometimes multiple standups a day based on assigned projects
o Small parts of team working on different projects
o PM, scrum master and analysts are dedicated to this team
• Legacy modernization efforts
• Migration efforts
• Support and enhancement work
• 95% web application based
Duties
- Full stack .net development supporting projects within States Health and Human services division
Must have
- C#
- .net core
- javascript
- Rest - working towards integrating more microservices
- Strong unit testing background
- Well rounded relational database background - must be able to write SQL and create queries
o Oracle, sql, Teradata environment
- CICD background - GIT + azure devops ideally
Nice to have
- Automation testing
- React
- Java + spring boot - they have a couple java applications in their org
Programmer Analyst 6 (.NET C#/JAVA Developer)
• 5+ years of ASP.NET 4.8 and .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# experience.
• 3+ years of JAVA 1.8+ and Spring Framework experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing with REST web service interfaces.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complex Select/Insert/Update statements.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile / SCRUM processes and working an Sprint Development team.
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps / TFS using boards and code repository.
• 5+ years of experience working with GIT code repository software.
• 5+ years of experience developing unit and regression tests.
• 5+ years of experience developing secure websites using industry best practices (such as preventing cross site scripting or SQL injection attacks and coding security logging into software functionality).
• Familiarity with Oracle database preferred.
• Familiarity with Design patterns preferred.
