What You’ll Do:
As a SDET Engineer you’ll design, develop, and test software products built for our federal customer leveraging automated tools and frameworks!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Define test strategy, create test plans, author test cases, and perform test execution to supply quality product releases.
- Work collaboratively with our operations and engineering partners.
- Serve as a test lead on our cross-functional projects with significant bottom-line impact.
- Proactively communicate technical information and status to broad, cross-functional teams.
- Functionally decompose complex problems into simple, straightforward solutions.
- Understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
- Drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product.
- Ensure test processes for new applications and features are designed into the product development process.
- Work with performance engineers to design and execute performance benchmarking.
What You’ll Need:
- Active Secret Clearance (or Higher).
- US Citizenship required.
- Automated Testing framework experience (Selenium, Cucumber, Mocha/Chai, TestNG).
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Proven experience working within Java, AWS, and CI/CD driven environments.
- Hands-on experience with writing automation test code and utilizing leading industry standards tools and frameworks that can simulate complex multi-system scenarios.
- Proficiency with automated testing types (Unit, Functional, Load, Security, Behavioral, Integration, Component, Contract and End to End).
- Experience working with two or more of the following: web/mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, event-driven systems, transaction processing systems, distributed and parallel systems, large software systems development, security software development, public-cloud platforms.
- Strong testing experience includes developing test plans, automating test cases, and working with test frameworks.
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to describe methods of testing highly sophisticated systems, diagnose system defects and clearly communicate to project constituents key findings and learned lessons.
