As a valuable player on one of our sprint teams, you'll help guide the team technically, helping us make the best decisions for the incredible products we are creating every day. Responsibilities:
- Develop feature functionality for Brandlive's primary product portfolio (and more).
- Brandlive Platform (Video Presentations)
- Greenroom (Presenter Collaboration)
- Collaborate with peers to design, build, test, and deliver high-quality software applications.
- Write clear, efficient, and scalable code with an eye towards maintainability.
- Collaborate with peers and participate in design and code reviews.
- Support the release planning by understanding and communicating the details (effort, risk, priority) of the planned features in an agile environment.
- Own and contribute to team productivity and process improvements.
- 2+ years' experience in developing and maintaining modern web applications
- Experience with front-end technologies such as TypeScript, React, Redux, and related frameworks
- Experience working with RESTful services
- Experience with back-end technologies such as TypeScript, NodeJS, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Ability to work with product managers to clarify and simplify requirements
- Verbal and written fluency in professional business communication in English.
- Strong SQL, serverless architecture, and either AWS or GCP experience are a plus
- Experience with live streaming, on-demand streaming, and other video streaming technologies are a plus
- Ability to work onsite at our Portland, Oregon HQ or work from home. Eligible candidates must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, GA, IN, ME, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, WA, KY, FL, IL, AL, CT, MA, MI, MO, NV, RI, TN, or VA.
