Auriga Polymers is an Indorama Ventures company, located in Spartanburg, South Caroline. The site manufactures and supplies PET polymers in resin and fiber form for various markets and applications. Packaging resins are used in various food and drinks markets. Specialty polymer resins are mainly used in industrial applications to produce a variety of products including fiber, geo-textile, monofilament, medical, film and others. Special nonwovens provide fiber in staple and tow forms for various applications including hygiene, medical care, automotive, insulation, apparel, filtration, and construction.
We are seeking a Mechanical Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering group located at our Spartanburg, SC facility. We are looking for a highly motivated professional with demonstrated capabilities. A successful individual in this role must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven, ever-changing environment
Responsibilities / Job Requirements:
- Manage the fixed equipment Mechanical Integrity program
- Maintain Maintenance and Reliability KPI’s
- Champion the Integration of work processes into Digital Solutions (Hand Held field devices )
- Process Hazard Analysis Facilitator – Auriga can provide the training for this
- Develop reliability project scopes based on manufacturing and operational needs.
- Continually track and monitor reliability issues in focus area; pareto based value.
- Provide value added economical solutions for reliability issues.
- Enhance proper documentation of equipment in various plant systems.
- Work with site EHS to ensure OSHA regulations and Compliance regulations are fully met.
- Facilitate reliability solutions with key stakeholders.
- Timely completion and closure of reliability improvements
- Recommend improvement in sites systems to enhance reliable asset performance.
- Perform other duties, assignments and projects as assigned.
- Learn from support role models.
- Ability to train and create training documents.
- Employee strategic reliability principles for continuous improvement (FMEA, RCFA, PPA. etc.)
Requirements / Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical degree preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma exposure; certification preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing and chemical process environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft software
- Strong communication skills
