Hands-on development, maintenance, and execution of manual and automated test cases.
Participation in the design of the testing software architecture and continuous improvement of code quality. Contributes to code reviews, adhering to coding standards and best practices for maintainable and reliable code.
Participation in agile planning and execution process with development team and delivery management.
Research and develop an understanding of the requirements for the product features being tested, including how the users employ the features.
Although not expected to lead a QA team, emerging leadership skills are a must for this position. Some Product Management responsibilities are expected.
Strong analytical skills, initiative, full autonomy and results orientation.
Ability to coordinate and work closely with peer team members and help lead testing efforts.
Actively engage in agile planning and execution with the development team and product management.
Requirement Analysis: Research and understand product feature requirements and their usage by business teams.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
Skills and Expertise:
Experienced with Zephyr, Testrail, or other Test Management Software.
Experienced with modern Web Services (REST)
Familiarity with at least one OOP or scripting programming language (Java, Typescript, Python)
Proficient in using Selenium WebDriver, Postman and similar testing tools, for both frontend and backend
Experience with issue tracking software (JIRA) and version control (GIT)
Education / Qualifications:
Education: Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or similar field
Experience: Over 7 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer
Excellent command of written and spoken English;
Strong analytical skills, initiative and high level of autonomy
