Smartsheet Developer

The Smartsheet Developer is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Smartsheet solutions for our client. The ideal candidate will have experience with Smartsheet, as well as strong programming and analytical skills.

This position is located in Newark, NJ. Qualified candidates must be within a commutable distance and able to go into the office as needed. This team typically goes into the office one day a week.

1. Develop and implement Smartsheet solutions to meet the needs of the client.
2. Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
3. Test and debug Smartsheet solutions.
4. Provide training and support to users of Smartsheet solutions.
5. Stay up-to-date on the latest Smartsheet features and functionality.
6. Work with other IT team members to integrate Smartsheet solutions with other systems.

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 4+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. 3+ years of experience with Smartsheet.
3. 2+ years of experience with Smartsheet functional areas like control center, workspaces, power apps, sheets, reports, dashboards, etc.
4. 1+ years of experience as a Smartsheet Platform Administrator, Specialist and/or developer.
5. Ability to design blueprints through Control Center in an optimal and effective way that minimizes manual touchpoints in the system.
6. Develop web reporting solutions to help the business make better decisions, extraction of key data from business applications, and creation and management of operational dashboards to continue reviewing the applicable data sets.
7. Experience in Dynamic View development and Pivot Table creation through Smartsheets.
8. Experience leveraging and developing Data Shuffle.
9. Extensive understanding of metric creation through Smartsheet through the utilization of Dashboards and advanced formula creation.
10. Strong programming skills in JavaScript and/or Python.
11. Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
12. Experience with Agile development methodologies.
13. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

1. Knowledge of Stage Gate Process and utility industry is a plus.
2. Certifications in SmartSheet or related project management tools (e.g., PMP, CAPM) are a plus.
