Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Plumbing Designer, we'll count on you to
* Provide plumbing system design and layout utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, including coordination with all disciplines
* Perform calculations, equipment selection and other related design tasks under the guidance of the Project Manager and other senior technical staff
* Execute plumbing system design and drawing preparation under direction of the Project Manager, system narratives and system layouts for a variety of project types and sizes
* Design various plumbing system types under the guidance of the Project Manager
* Work with the internal design team as well as external clients and consultants, including owners, builders, developers, program managers, contractors, architects, vendors, etc
* Manage construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects including conducting field inspections and subsequent detailed inspection reports
* Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
AutoCAD and/or Revit iBIM or 3D experience required
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
* 5 years of experience including fire protection or fire sprinkler systems
* Certified EIT preferred, CPD, LEED AP or Medical Gas Design Certification a plus.
* Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required
* Local candidates are preferred.
