Compensation
$28+ per hour, depending on experience
Health insurance, with a 100% fully-paid plan
401(k), with employer match
Responsibilities:
Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremen
Erect and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildings
Install electrical components in accordance with building codes and regulations
Work with other electricians and contractors to install lighting fixtures and devices
Diagnose electrical problems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Test circuits to determine whether they are live or dead
Measure voltage, amperage, resistance, phase displacement using electrical instruments
Knowledgeably discuss the implications of installing various types of wiring
Ensure that the work is done in accordance with code, including the National Electrical Code
Qualifications:
Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
Ability to complete jobs from start to finish
Experience with nLight, wattstopper, Douglas, and Blue Box lighting controls
5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential
TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (preferred, but not required)
Efficiency in troubleshooting, problem solving and making repairs in a timely manner
Experience in installation of electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring and fixtures
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
Willingness to submit to and pass drug screen
