Position Summary:
The MedInsight engineering team is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead in the development and maintenance of new and existing web products. As a Senior Full Stack Web Developer, you will lead in designing and building of web applications used in our healthcare analytic suite of products. Your work will directly contribute to the usability and functionality of our products, making them more accessible and impactful for our clients. This role demands a passion for clean code, a deep understanding of web technologies and healthcare data, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leading the design, development, and maintenance of web applications, ensuring a seamless, intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including designers, product managers, and other engineers) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs, adhering to best practices in coding standards and code reviews.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
- Stay informed on new technologies and methodologies in web development, applying them to your work where applicable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience working with modern web technologies, including React and/or Blazor.
- Experience with the .NET ecosystem.
- Experience using source control.
- Knowledge of best practices and design patterns in web application development.
- Ability to work on all aspects of a modern web technology stack.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to learn on the job and own your professional development.
- Ability to work creatively and flexibly.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally, for example for professional development opportunities. (Less than 5% nationwide.)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with healthcare data.
- Experience with Databricks, Power BI Semantic models, Spark SQL, and DAX queries.
Compensation and Location:
- The salary range is $85,000 to $173,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. This role can be located remotely within the U.S.
