Bosch Chassis Systems India Ltd is a 100% Bosch owned company in India. The company designs and develops world-class Hydraulic Brake System Parts that include Boosters, Tandem master cylinders, and Proportioning valves. The Control Division develops innovative components, systems, and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics, and driver assistance like ABS and ESP. RBIC would soon be expanding its portfolio in passive safety and other Driver assistance products.

Job Description

• Vehicle Testing, Performance Evaluation, Application, and Calibration of control algorithms in software for Active Safety systems.
• Working on a variety of technologies for different vehicle types (ICE, HEV & EV) and supporting the development of Driver Assistance Systems.
• Understand and analyze customer’s performance & controller requirements.
• Conduct vehicle tests in summer and winter sessions and calibrate system performance per Bosch, customer, and legal requirements.
• Troubleshooting in vehicles for hardware, software & DAQ during development.
• Interface with customers to provide technical support.
• Follow company development and quality processes.
• Support other groups/departments in project acquisition and technical activities.
• Experience/know-how in conducting vehicle tests (e.g., brake tests, lane changes on different test surfaces).
• Understanding of ABS/ESP, homologation testing as per regulations.
• Good know-how of vehicle dynamics.
• Good driving skills & ability to judge vehicle behavior & system impact on vehicle behavior.
• Good analytical and logical reasoning.
• Strong social skills – active listening, relationship management, effective communication, engagement with team members & clients.
• Understanding of programming languages C, Matlab, Simulink.
• Hands-on with DAQ (Data Acquisition Systems), Vbox, Vector tools, data loggers, sensors & SW programming tools.
• General awareness of the automotive industry - current trends/affairs.
• Testing experience on ABS and ESP systems preferred.
• Experience in hydraulic brake systems with an understanding of brake system calculation and foundation brake sizing preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate/Post Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in the Automotive Domain.
• Experience in hydraulic brake systems with an understanding of brake system calculation and foundation brake sizing preferred.
• Experience in tyre, suspension tuning with hands-on dynamic vehicle testing experience.

General awareness of the automotive industry current trends/affairs.
