Job Responsibilities:

1. Works with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
2. Analyzes and translates requirements into system, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
3. Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
4. Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
5. Solves problems concerning and provides support for fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
6. Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
7. Provides technical, design and informational support for complex production, product support or in-service issues.
8. Effectively troubleshoots difficult, intermittent, chronic or complex system problems consistent with operational protocols.
9. Assembles the resources necessary to quickly and efficiently resolve issues.
10. Conducts studies and assessments in support of technology development.
11. Identifies and documents emerging industry standards in line with company goals.
12. Participates in industry technical committees and technology roadmapping exercises.
13. Develops, manages, controls, documents and tracks a wide range of complex electronic/electrical system/subsystem requirements.
14. Provides guidance to less experienced engineers and leads small requirements development teams.
15. Oversees the supplier technical team in the development of the product or system.
16. Validates that requirements are complete by performing traceability analysis.

Preferred Skills:

• Authoring of system functional tests, working knowledge of wire diagrams and schematics, prior customer introduction experience.
• Proficiency with Boeing software tools and application, understanding of aircraft certification.
