Lead IT Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:

You will serve as a senior technical advisor, responsible for providing high-level strategic and technical guidance to the client and project team. You will play a critical role in system design, architecture, and implementation for Army Housing systems, ensuring that all solutions meet Army and DoD requirements. This position requires advanced technical expertise and leadership in driving successful IT modernization efforts and supporting the lifecycle of the Army Housing Enterprise Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical planning, design, and implementation for key system enhancements, particularly for AHOUS and HEHRR.
• Oversee system architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with DoD and Army regulations.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, data management, and software engineering.
• Collaborate with program management and other consultants to define project milestones and deliverables.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for critical system issues and provide high-level recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT consulting with a focus on military or federal IT systems.
• Extensive knowledge of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity principles.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and managing large-scale IT projects.
• Expertise in Army and DoD IT governance, security, and compliance protocols.
