Job Requirements / Description

In this role, the candidate will be working between the Infrastructure Engineer, the Business Analysts, and the Web Developer, providing support across all three disciplines. Supporting the security and development of the network and software infrastructure. The candidate will be expected to be highly knowledgeable, but training will be provided to the right candidate to help bring them up to speed should they not have extensive experience in certain areas of the role.
A valid UK driving license and vehicle with the appropriate insurance are essential due to travel requirements.

Desired qualities:

  1. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft servers – Windows, SQL, SharePoint, Exchange, SCCM etc.
  2. Practical knowledge managing, supporting, and developing Microsoft 365 in a hybrid environment (including PowerApps, Power Automate etc.)
  3. Experience working with Azure VMs and Databases
  4. Good understanding of networking principles
  5. A good understanding of business processes
  6. An understanding of network security and data protection requirements
  7. An understanding of server virtualization

This role is hybrid based in our head offices in Tiverton. Normal working hours are 9 – 5 Monday to Friday (flexible working is part of the role). Some out-of-hours work will be required for planned maintenance, upgrades, and emergencies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,648.00 - £39,186.00 per year
