Mechanical Engineer
Location: Tarboro, NC, USA
The purpose of this position is to develop and install mechanical designs for new and existing equipment as well as provide daily customer support
Job Summary:

• Design production equipment, tooling and fixtures for new and existing products
• Recommend and develop improvements to existing equipment
• Coordinate with vendors for accurate part manufacturing and on time delivery
• Develop and install new manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment using standardized root cause analysis techniques
• Develop and deliver presentations, train other associates, provide direction to other associates, provide customer support, etc.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• 4 year College Degree in a related technical field
• Engineering skills including knowledge of mechanics, thermodynamic, fluids, solids, and pneumatics
• Knowledge of CAD systems and a strong mechanical aptitude

Preferred Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Skills):

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• 3+ years related work experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
• 2+ years of SolidWorks experience
• Expert knowledge of robotics, fluid dispense and screw driving applications
