We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic operations team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining a robust infrastructure that supports our web services while ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Leadership: Build and lead a high-performance DevOps team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, manage, and maintain cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments, leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, EKS, Dynamo, Aurora, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
  • Automation and Tooling: Collaborate with software engineering teams to develop and refine automation tools, streamlining deployment and operational processes.
  • Scalability and Adoption: Ensure infrastructure and tools support the scaling and adoption of new technologies and features.
  • Security and Compliance: Develop and implement robust security and IT standards to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams to translate business needs into technical implementations and maintain high availability and disaster recovery systems.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure roles, with hands-on experience in AWS cloud environments.
  • Proven expertise in high-scale, high-throughput, and distributed microservices architectures.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of networking, virtualization, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and monitoring solutions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A complementary degree or coursework in management, business, or a related field.
  • Experience leading and building high-performance infrastructure engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a diverse range of user IT and compute needs, from engineers to executives.
