The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

1. Installing, monitoring, and maintaining the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks.
2. Identifying and resolving hardware or software issues on-site and remotely.
3. Performing cabling works and patching.
4. Ongoing routine checks on machinery and maintaining/updating the equipment inventory.

The role is located in our premises at Corfu (CFU) Airport.

What will you be doing?

1. Install and configure hardware, operating systems and applications on-site.
2. Maintain and monitor the Airport’s IT&T systems and networks.
3. Diagnose and resolve first-level hardware and/or software issues.
4. Supervise external providers on-site at the Airport’s IT&T Main Distribution Frame (MDF) and Secondary Distribution Frames (SDFs).
5. Receive, safe keep, and record IT&T hardware assets on local inventory.
6. Identify end users’ needs proactively during the daily walk-throughs in the Airport.
7. Actively participate in ad hoc projects according to departmental and company goals.
8. Stay updated with the latest technological trends regarding the Airport’s equipment installation base.
9. Available to work in shifts.

Requirements

1. Degree in Information Technology/Computer Systems/Electronics Engineering or similar.
2. Minimum three years of previous professional experience in a similar role, preferably in Aviation.
3. Extensive telecommunications cabling infrastructure knowledge, especially copper Category 5, 5e, 6, 6a and 7.
4. Network and/or system certifications are considered assets.
5. Very good knowledge of Greek and English on both an oral and written level.
6. Excellent knowledge and experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems and networks.
7. Fulfilled Military Obligations, if applicable.
