Java Developer –
San Jose, CA Remote

Requirements:

1. Need a Candidate with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in this field
2. BS in CS 5+ yrs experience or MS 3+ yrs experience
3. Experience in object-oriented programming and concepts
4. Experienced in Java backend application development
5. Comfortable enough in handling algorithms, data structures, data collections and system design problems
6. Expected to develop new APIs and host new endpoints
7. Experienced in Distributed System development using Java/J2EE/Web Technologies
8. Proven track record in delivering highly available, scalable systems on time
9. Conversant in design patterns
10. Strong Experience with Microservices, Springboot framework
11. Good understanding of web services and related standards like REST/JSON
12. Experience in Spring framework and other open-source frameworks
13. Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, Informatica, etc.)
14. Experience in Unix based development environment
15. Experience in both development and quality assurance activities
16. Experience in QA methodologies, test automation and automation frameworks
17. Experience in driving Integration testing, UAT with external vendors
18. Experience in JUnit, Selenium is a plus
19. Experience working in payments or financial services industry is a plus
20. Exposure to Agile Methodologies
