POSITION SUMMARY
CVS’s mandate is to transform health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and best-in-class experience. This team is responsible for CVS’s digital transformation and all digital products; as well as the development and execution of the digital roadmap. A key part of the responsibility is to build an integrated platform that enables the delivery of products to drive engagement and revolutionize health and wellness.
As Senior Mobile Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-performance mobile apps team for CVS customers. Our mobile apps teams are cross-platform – native iOS and Android. You will lead an engineering team in an agile environment building solutions and working closely with Product and UX.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead a team to design, build, test, deploy and maintain iOS and Android mobile apps.
- Raise the quality bar of our mobile apps.
- Actively participate in the design and architecture process for new services across teams.
- Instrument your features with metrics and tracing, so you always have a clear picture of how things are operating.
- Participate in code reviews within your team and frequently with other teams.
- Mentor team members and contribute to building a strong consistent engineering culture.
- Work with other departments on collaborative projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of software development experience building customer-facing mobile native apps.
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
- 3+ years of experience working with highly available, large scale, high performing applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent communications, organization, and time management skills.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
- Have architected, designed, delivered mobile applications.
- Experience with defining the architecture or solutions for the mobile applications.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience).
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $118,450.00 - $284,280.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
