Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver complex requirements to accomplish business goals.
  • Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements.
  • Design, develop & prototype Android customer applications for phone and tablets for internal and external use.
  • Participate in the full app life-cycle: concept, design, build, deploy, test and release to app store.
  • Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes and estimates.
  • Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools.
  • Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
  • Mentors other software engineers and coaches the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack.
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle.
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
  • Automates manual release activities.
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
  • Typically requires 5-7 years of experience.
  • Experience in designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform.
  • Proficient in Kotlin, Objective-C, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML.
  • Extensive knowledge of XCode, Java, Kotlin, Gradle.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera APIs.
  • Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
  • Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
  • Fixing application bugs before the final release.
  • Publishing application on App Store.
  • Maintaining the code and automation of the application.

Pay Transparency details:

Pay range: $100,700.00 - $180,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan.
