Job Description: Continuous Improvement Engineer Co-Op - Spring 2025

WORK LOCATION: Billerica, MA

Core Purpose: Our site in Billerica is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our team for the Spring 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration from January to June 2025.

In this role, you will:

1. Conduct 6S, Gowning, & Tier Board audits
2. Create Standard work for processes
3. Create SOPs
4. Conduct Time studies
5. Create Current & Future state Value Stream maps
6. Create Process Maps
7. Document & participate in 5 Whys & Fishbone root cause analysis
8. Participate in Kaizen Workshops
9. Determine the 8 wastes of Lean

You're a good fit if you have:

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 1 or 2 years experience working in related Industries

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Working on Masters in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Management
• Lean Certification
• Six Sigma Yellow or Green belt
