Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and production teams to develop, build, and optimize mechanical design packages. You will play a key role in maintaining and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring the accuracy and quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and create detailed mechanical design packages using SolidWorks .
• Maintain and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements.
• Conduct design reviews and modify designs to meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize AutoCAD (if familiar) for additional design tasks or when needed.
• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot design issues and implement solutions to optimize performance.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design progress.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a strong focus on using SolidWorks .
• Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
