Job Title: Quality ManagerExciting opportunity to join a company that has a start up environment with the backing of a large stable company.Job Description• Lead the Quality function including Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality and Quality Control• Ensure that quality strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of cost, quality, and delivery targets• Lead QMS certification and audit activities (supplier and internal)• Ensure customer quality issues and non-conformances are resolved quickly• Establish Quality Performance data and Key Performance Indicators; provide the Management team with regular updates on Quality activities.• Maintain the quality management system (based on ISO 9001)• Ensures that Management Reviews are conducted in collaboration with the plant manager• Grow the Quality team through hiring and developmentHard Skills• Several years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment required• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline strongly preferred but not required• Proven leadership/team management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development• Experience with the ISO 9001 and AQAP 2110• Proven knowledge of Root Cause/Corrective Action methodology, 8D, 5 why• Ability to build a culture that promotes a team environment• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills• Hands-on approach in taking charge of issues on the factory floor and seeing them through to resolution• Demonstrable experience with Root Cause/Corrective Action and data analysis• A working knowledge of SAP preferred• Ability to travelJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.About ActalentActalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
