Overview
Pyramid Systems is seeking an experienced DevOps/AWS Engineer to take responsibility for creating, building, deploying, orchestrating, and automating deployment packages in an AWS cloud-based environment. This opportunity presents future growth potential within the company.
Responsibilities
- Design and automate cloud environments at scale using Infrastructure as Code tools
- Design and develop fully automated software delivery pipelines
- Efficiently collaborate within and across agile teams to maximize productivity
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and similar
- Engage in all agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives
- Eliminate road-blocks and hindrances preventing teams from delivering software
- Assist the team in documenting and leveraging cloud and DevOps best practices
Qualifications
US Citizenship is required to support federal agency customers and will require a Public Trust clearance.
Must have 5+ years of experience in the following:
- Infrastructure as code (IaC), Terraform preferred
- AWS S3 / SQS / SNS Services
- Docker / Kubernetes (kubectl) / ECR / EKS
- EventBridge / Cloudwatch events
- Linux command line experience
- CI/CD tools, such as CodePipeline, CodeBuild, GitLab CI
- Python / Boto3
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
