Position Summary:

AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB Products into clusters in Linux operating systems. The Cloud Engineer must have advanced knowledge of Unix systems and shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience and knowledge of some NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Memsql, CockroachDB, Redis, etc.
  • Implement, manage, and monitor the company’s cloud environments and solutions.
  • Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems with a good understanding of multi-vendor Cloud offerings.
  • Experience in cloud-native network, storage, and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with IaaS, Config-as-Code, Policy-as-Code, and CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, JFrog, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible.
  • Experience with modern performance monitoring and diagnostics tools (e.g., Splunk, AppD, Dynatrace, SolarWinds).
  • Understand relevant application technologies and development life cycles.
  • Strong adherence to operating controls, risk management, process review and creation, documentation, and collaborative knowledge sharing.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to use qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of operations, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changes in project scope.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administration support and maintenance for existing and new cloud applications in production and non-production environments.
  • Perform debugging, tuning, and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration aspects of the ElastiCash platform.
  • Write shell scripts for automation of installation and support of cloud ElastiCash applications.
  • Work with DevOps tools on the Horizon platform to create, maintain, and execute operational jobs.
  • Identify inefficiencies in current processes and implement improved solutions.
  • Assist in planning and implementing capacity and resource expansion to ensure scalability of cloud platforms supporting applications.
  • Assist in planning and performing product upgrades and migrations to new solutions and integrating with third-party ecosystems.

Pay Transparency Details:

Pay range: $100,000.00 - $153,700.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
