Maxwell-Reddick and Associates, a Pape-Dawson Company, is seeking a full-time Senior Civil Project Engineer based in our Alpharetta, GA office. This position will lead a project design team and work closely with the Senior Project Manager regarding client communication, permitting, and management on a wide range of residential and commercial development projects. The Senior Civil Project Engineer will collaborate in-house with other civil engineers, landscape architects, and land surveyors to assist our clients in developing public, private, and mixed-use projects. Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Project Manager or Vice President in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Develop feasible design alternatives and compare significant parameters such as typical sections, horizontal and vertical alignments, right-of-way requirements and cost
- Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and need
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
- Prepare written technical reports and engineering studies using approved company format
- Direct production work of engineering technicians
- Participate in the development of company design and production standards
- Additional related duties as needed
Requirements
- PE license in Georgia, or ability to achieve by reciprocity
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- 6-10+ years of experience in site design, planning, and project management
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual
- AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
