Devops Architect – New York

We are recruiting for a Devops Architect for a Client in New Jersey New York.

Job Description:

1. Developing proof of concepts and proposing solutions to architecture and tech leads.
2. GIT Lab, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, IBM & AWS Cloud & internal tools, ETL layer on top of Groovy.
3. Participate in deployment & configuration of the application as needed.
4. Understand servers and databases and related architecture requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved and maintained through high-quality deliverables.
5. Development and maintenance of the automation suites for solid, reliable, and scalable deployment of cloud and network assets.
6. Testing and qualification of automation suites in pre-deployment scenarios.
7. Experience with microservice and/or event-driven architecture.
8. Strong grasp of automation and monitoring tools (Travis, Jenkins, etc.).
9. Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, or Vagrant).
10. Knowledge of tools like Chef, Puppet.
11. Strong knowledge and understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
12. Docker and related orchestration technologies.

3 to 6 month contract assignment.
