Title: Business System Analyst (BSA) with SQL exp.

Location: Mira Mesa, San Diego, CA (2 days Onsite/Week)

Type: 6+ month Contract

Job Description:

4+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst/BA/Systems Analyst. The team needs someone who already knows how to capture and translate business requirements and write out user stories. Someone who isn’t afraid to take initiative and is very responsive. This role requires strong communication with the Formulary team and a very analytical mindset. The candidate should understand data and be interested in asking the right questions to extract details from the business teams.

1. A drug formulary, also known as a drug list, is a list of prescription drugs that are covered by a health insurance plan or prescription drug plan.
2. Need strong data analytics project experience. Experience working with large data.
3. SQL experience - this role is more focused on SQL data analysis and SQL queries. Lots of data management in this team.
4. Healthcare or pharmacy industry experience (can flex here but try to find this first). This will help with their learning curve too if they’re already familiar.
5. Experience with Jira is preferred, but any similar experience is still helpful.
6. Experience with Web App/Software Dev/SDLC projects - Agile terminology, working with Developers/business stakeholders.
