POSITION OVERVIEW
This position will be responsible for executing Capital Projects including scope development, cost estimation, system design, equipment sizing and selection, procurement, installation, check-out and start-up. This position will be located at the Buffalo Site supporting the Cereal Packaging Department.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead Engineer on Capital Projects - overall project management, construction management, start-up, conceptual phases, project close-out, scope development, cost estimation, system design, equipment design and selection, procurement, installation, and check-out.
- Lead system design standards development for divisional unit operations, includes improvements to existing standards using appropriate technical evaluation and oversight.
- Maintain engineering interface with business unit team - maintain close working relationship with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations leadership, and financial operations.
- Offer production support and troubleshooting assistance to Engineers, Maintenance, and Line Teams.
- Provide innovative technical solutions required to meet business objectives with emphasis on productivity.
- Lead annual capital planning process for the Packaging Department, including Long Range Plans for obsolescence, Packaging Innovation, and Growth.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering or related degree with applicable experience or extensive relevant work experience
- 3+ years of project engineering experience in manufacturing
- Experience working with plant technicians, leadership staff, outside vendors, and managing contractors and engineering firms
- Demonstrated skills in executing several large concurrent assignments with emphasis on project management, productivity and innovation
- Working knowledge of packaging systems, plant manufacturing, engineering, quality and research functions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of relevant food manufacturing and engineering experience
- Experience with continuous improvement, LEAN, Six Sigma, TPM, or related processes
- Construction management experience
- Understanding of Food Manufacturing Regulatory requirements (GMP, EPA, OSHA)

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $91900.00 - $138000.00 / Annually.
