Principal Network Engineer

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Network Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC and Reston, VA. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a team dedicated to maintaining and securing the enterprise environment for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide guidance in local- and wide-area networking
• Technical expertise on project teams for new services and architecture
• Management of small technical teams
• Consult with stakeholders on technical requirements and direction
• Provide deep expertise with network components such as Cisco, Juniper, F5, and more
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Tunnels, Spine and Leaf, and BGP Peering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's with 6+ years
• DoD Approved 8570 Level IAT II certification (e.g. CCNP, CCIE)
• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for Polygraph
• Experience in Information Systems Architecture and Telecommunications Systems Design
• Expertise with network components and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, Tunnels, Spine and Leaf, and BGP Peering
