Job Description and Requirements
We're looking for an experienced ASIC/SoC/IP lead to join the team! Are you interested in working across various market segments (AI, Cloud, Networking, Storage...) to develop solutions for customer chip designs using the Synopsys IP portfolio? This role is perfect for someone with ASIC/SoC design experience, great interpersonal skills, and a commitment to customer success.
Key Activities and Responsibilities Include:
- Articulating the business and technical value of our solutions and products to senior managers and technical decision makers.
- Understanding customer requirements and proposing suitable solutions.
- Positioning our technical solutions in competitive situations.
- Liaising between our worldwide technical, marketing, and sales leaders.
- Owning and driving technical solution strategy and design.
Key Qualifications
- Typically requires a minimum of a relevant Bachelor's degree with at least 12+ years of relevant experience, or a relevant master's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Solid technical background in IC design and verification, with experience in a sales support or direct customer-facing role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong project leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Strategic perspective on available IP product lines and IP-related services offerings.
- Ability to pursue opportunities with energy and drive.
- Capable of understanding multiple issues/program directions and communicating their impact.
- Experience with at least one major semiconductor IP product line.
Nice to have:
- Prior experience or familiarity with interface and connectivity protocols (e.g., SerDes, PCIe, DDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet).
- Experience in a similar role working with sales, marketing, engineering, and customers for Semiconductor IP, EDA, ASIC, or SoC design/verification services.
- Program Management experience on complex SoC projects.
